The Flex is Relax Saunas' lie-down model. Instead of a chair and an upright tent, you lie on your back on a reflective mat while a retractable dome covers your body and a far infrared radiator warms you. It suits one person who would rather rest flat than sit upright, and who has floor space to roll out a mat roughly the size of a twin mattress for each session.

Good to know
- How it is used: Relax suggests laying a towel inside, lying down, then pulling the dome over you. It describes typical sessions of 20–30 minutes and suggests newcomers start shorter.
- Space: plan for at least the 78 x 36 in. mat footprint plus room to get on and off it. The dome retracts and everything packs into the carry bag.
- Power: 800 W is a lighter load than Relax's 1,400 W seated saunas.
- Not published: Relax's temperature range and magnetic-field readings are given for its seated saunas; it does not list separate figures for the Flex.
- Not ideal for: anyone who finds it hard to get down to and up from the floor, or who wants to read or use a tablet comfortably during a session. Relax advises people with pacemakers or implanted devices to check with their physician first.
