The Lumara Pad is a flexible LED pad you lay on or strap around the body. Each LED position combines three wavelengths: 635 nm red plus 830 nm and 940 nm near-infrared, rather than alternating rows of red and infrared. It comes in five sizes, from a small 11 x 11 in. square to a 20 x 30 in. sheet. It suits someone who wants hands-free light sessions on the back, shoulders, knees or legs while lying or sitting.

Good to know
- Eyes: Lumara warns that the infrared wavelengths can harm the eyes, so wear eye protection if you use the pad near your face.
- Skin contact: Lumara says clothing blocks the light, so use it on clean, bare skin. The sleeve keeps the pad clean but is optional.
- Wavelength note: Lumara's page mentions far infrared, but all three published wavelengths are red or near-infrared.
- Storage: store flat or loosely rolled.
- Not ideal for: cordless use, or anyone who wants short 5-minute sessions; Lumara's panels are designed for that.
