Nicebeam's LED Red Light Therapy Face Mask is a flexible liquid-silicone mask with 279 LEDs across four wavelengths: 415 nm blue, 630 nm red, 850 nm near-infrared and a 1072 nm source Nicebeam calls a laser. A remote selects one of two 10-minute presets, a red, near-infrared and 1072 nm program, or a blue, near-infrared and 1072 nm program that Nicebeam aims at oily, blemish-prone skin, at three brightness levels with an optional 10 Hz pulse. A built-in 4,000 mAh battery makes it cordless. At $319 it suits someone who wants a four-wavelength mask with a remote and a travel bag, and who is comfortable with Nicebeam's regulatory wording (see below).

What's in the box

  • LED face mask
  • Remote control
  • USB charging cable
  • Travel storage bag
  • User manual

Good to know

  • Regulatory wording: Nicebeam's description says the mask is FDA 510(k) cleared and 'not FDA registered'; the spec table on the same page says 'FDA Registered'. Neither gives a clearance number. We repeat both as Nicebeam's words; ask Nicebeam for the K number if clearance matters to you.
  • Eyes: no eye shields are listed in the box. Nicebeam says to avoid direct eye exposure and remove contact lenses, and the blue channel in particular should not be used with eyes open near the LEDs.
  • Routine: Nicebeam suggests daily or three to five sessions a week on clean, product-free skin, applying skincare afterwards, and avoiding retinol or exfoliating acids right before or after. It also says not to use the mask on broken skin or within two weeks of facial procedures.
  • Battery: Nicebeam says 4,000 mAh gives 'multiple sessions per charge' without a number.
  • Not published: mask dimensions, weight, LED wattage, run time per charge and charge time.
  • Compared with other masks on Comparadar: Renew's The Mask has 92 four-chip LEDs with an orange channel and 23 mW/cm² for $349; EVEDIA's ION has 160 LEDs and a 2-year warranty for $249.99; PurRed's 288-LED mask is red and NIR only for $150. Nicebeam's has the most LEDs of the four with a blue channel and a 1072 nm source, and the only remote.
  • Delivery and returns: Nicebeam processes orders in 1–3 business days and quotes 5–14 business days for US delivery (most in 5–7), which is slower than most brands on Comparadar. Nicebeam's own policy accepts returns within 30 days of delivery only for unopened, unused items that arrived damaged, defective or wrong, and refuses used devices on hygiene grounds, while its FAQ and product badges advertise a 30-day money-back trial. See Returns by brand before relying on either.
  • Not ideal for: neck or chest coverage, anyone who needs a documented 510(k) number before buying, or anyone taking medication that increases light sensitivity (check with your doctor first).

Specifications are from the manufacturer; we compared published specs and have not lab-tested this unit.
