Nicebeam Band 120-LED 660nm & 850nm Flexible LED Wrap

Nicebeam's Band is a thin, flexible 400 x 200 x 5 mm (15.7 x 7.9 in.) wrap with 120 LEDs mixing 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared light. Nicebeam positions it for the lower back, abdomen and core, and says it also fits shoulders, fingers and other joints, with 10–30 minute sessions three to five times a week. At $299 it sits between the smaller Strap and Armband and the larger 210-LED Pad, for someone who wants a band wide enough for a lower back but thin enough to wear under clothing while resting.

Good to know

• Thin profile: at 5 mm the Band is the thinnest Nicebeam wearable on Comparadar, which is why it can sit under a shirt while you rest. Nicebeam does not say whether it bends enough to wrap a wrist.
• Session guidance: Nicebeam suggests 10–30 minutes, three to five times a week, with the LEDs against bare skin. Start at the short end.
• Dim LEDs are normal: the 850 nm near-infrared LEDs are invisible to the eye, so part of the band will look dark when it is on.
• Not published: LED split between red and near-infrared, irradiance, power draw, timer, modes, battery or power-bank use, and strap length. Ask Nicebeam before buying if any of these matter to you.
• Compared with the Knee Pad: Nicebeam's $249 Knee Pad is 22.4 x 11.4 in. with 120 LEDs, a cordless controller, three power levels and a timer; the Band is smaller, thinner and $50 more, with fewer published controls.
• Regulatory: Nicebeam's page for this item calls it an 'FDA-cleared medical device' but publishes no clearance number; elsewhere Nicebeam describes its devices as 'FDA Registered', which is an establishment and device listing, not a 510(k) clearance. We repeat Nicebeam's wording as its own claim and have not verified it.
• Delivery and returns: Nicebeam processes orders in 1–3 business days and quotes 5–14 business days for US delivery (most in 5–7), which is slower than most brands on Comparadar. Nicebeam's own policy accepts returns within 30 days of delivery only for unopened, unused items that arrived damaged, defective or wrong, and refuses used devices on hygiene grounds, while its FAQ and product badges advertise a 30-day money-back trial. • Not ideal for: anyone who wants a timer, pulse modes or cordless use (see the Knee Pad), anyone who wants a published irradiance figure, anyone taking medication that increases light sensitivity, or anyone who is pregnant or has a medical condition (check with your doctor first).
