Nicebeam Slippers 132-LED 660nm & 850nm Red Light Foot Wraps

Nicebeam's Slippers put 132 LEDs around each foot, 67 at 660 nm red and 65 at 850 nm near-infrared, so the light reaches both the sole and the top of the foot. They have three modes, five brightness levels and a 5–30 minute timer, and run cordless so you can sit back during a session. At $349 for the pair they suit someone who wants a hands-free foot session without holding a panel or pad in place.

Good to know

• Session guidance: Nicebeam suggests 15–20 minutes, three to five times a week, worn on bare feet while you sit.
• Sizing: Nicebeam publishes no size range or fit guide, so ask before ordering if you wear a very small or very large shoe.
• Dim LEDs are normal: the 850 nm near-infrared LEDs are invisible to the eye, so about half of each slipper will look dark when it is on.
• Not published: battery capacity, run time, charge time, sizing, irradiance and weight.
• Compared with a pad: a flat pad such as Nicebeam's $249 Pad can be stood on or wrapped around one foot; the Slippers cover both feet, sole and top, at once, for $100 more.
• Regulatory: Nicebeam calls its devices 'FDA Registered', which is an establishment and device listing, not a 510(k) clearance, and publishes no registration or clearance numbers. This product's own page states no FDA status. We repeat Nicebeam's wording as its own claim.
• Delivery and returns: Nicebeam processes orders in 1–3 business days and quotes 5–14 business days for US delivery (most in 5–7), which is slower than most brands on Comparadar. Nicebeam's own policy accepts returns within 30 days of delivery only for unopened, unused items that arrived damaged, defective or wrong, and refuses used devices on hygiene grounds, while its FAQ and product badges advertise a 30-day money-back trial. • Not ideal for: anyone with reduced sensation in the feet, for example from diabetes, who may not notice heat (check with your doctor first), anyone who wants a published battery or sizing figure, anyone taking medication that increases light sensitivity, or anyone who is pregnant or has a medical condition (check with your doctor first).
