Relax Saunas Silver Elite Portable Far Infrared Sauna
The Silver Elite is the entry model in Relax Saunas' seated range: a fold-away tent with a chair inside, heated by two far infrared radiators that sit below your feet. Relax says it uses the same radiator system as the pricier Black Pro, so the real difference between the two is the tent fabric. It suits one person who wants a regular sauna session at home without giving up a room to it, and who does not mind setting up and packing away a tent.

Good to know
- Silver vs. Black Pro: Relax describes the Silver Elite tent as durable and reflective but less heat-retaining than the Black Pro's thicker, silver-lined tent. It positions Silver for personal and family use and Black Pro for busy professional settings.
- Heat control: Relax does not publish a thermostat setting. It says you manage intensity through session length and by opening the zipper partway, and suggests starting with 10–15 minute sessions.
- Power: 1,400 W is similar to a space heater (Relax makes the same comparison), so avoid running other high-draw appliances on the same circuit.
- First use: Relax recommends running the empty sauna for about 30 minutes to clear any new-material smell. It also notes some current stock carries its older logo on the tent.
- Not ideal for: anyone who wants a traditional hot-air sauna, a permanent cabin, or a set temperature. Relax advises people with pacemakers or other implanted devices to check with their physician first.
