Solawave's 4-in-1 Skincare Wand kit pairs its handheld Radiant Renewal wand with a full-size 50 mL LightBoost Activating Serum. The wand combines 630 nm red light from 14 LEDs (7 dual-core chips), a low-level galvanic current, gentle warmth and massage vibration in one aluminium-finished head that rotates 180°, and Solawave's routine is 3 minutes per area for a 12-minute session, three to five times a week on clean skin. The wand is listed in the FDA's 510(k) database (K232863, Class II over-the-counter) under its manufacturer, Shenzhen Kaiyan Medical Equipment. At $189 in Rose Gold, Gold or Charcoal, it suits someone who wants a small, cleared handheld device for the face rather than a mask or panel.

Good to know

  • How it is used: Solawave's instructions are to apply the serum to clean skin, then glide the wand over one area for about 3 minutes, moving to the next area for up to 12 minutes in total. The serum is also what the galvanic current acts on, which is why the kit bundles it.
  • Who Solawave says should not use it: Solawave lists pregnancy, people under 18, active skin cancer, and seizure or photosensitivity conditions as reasons not to use the wand. Check with your doctor if any apply.
  • Warranty wording: Solawave's warranty covers the original purchaser for one year 'only when purchased from an authorized retailer or reseller'. Solawave lists its products with Comparadar through Shopify Collective and ships your order itself; keep your Comparadar order number as proof of purchase.
  • Returns: Solawave advertises free 60-day returns on its own site; its prepaid labels apply only to orders placed on solawave.co, so returns of Comparadar orders go through our process. See Returns by brand.
  • Not published: irradiance, battery capacity, charge time, wand weight and dimensions on the kit page.
  • Compared with a mask: an LED face mask such as EVEDIA's ION ($249.99) or Lumara's VISO ($479) covers the whole face at once in a fixed session; the wand covers one area at a time and adds current, warmth and massage, at a lower price.
  • Not ideal for: anyone who wants hands-free use, anyone who wants near-infrared or blue wavelengths, or anyone on the exclusion list above.

Specifications are from the manufacturer; we compared published specs and have not lab-tested this unit.

Written warranty: read Solawave's published warranty terms before you buy. We will also email you the full text free of charge: support@comparadar.com.
