Nicebeam's Red Light Therapy Hat is a soft neoprene cap with a 7.5 x 7.9 in. LED panel of 120 LEDs, 60 at 660 nm red and 60 at 830 nm near-infrared, worn against the scalp. Unlike battery caps it stays plugged into a wall adapter during the session, which Nicebeam says keeps output constant; a corded controller sets brightness from 1 to 100% and one of three modes (continuous, 10 Hz or 40 Hz pulse), and the cap shuts off after 20 minutes. Nicebeam positions it for scalp care and the look of fuller hair. At $249 it suits someone who wants a hands-free scalp device and does not mind a cord.

Good to know
- Corded by design: Nicebeam makes a point of the hat not having a battery. Plan sessions near an outlet; the cord length is not published.
- Wavelength wording: Nicebeam's spec says the near-infrared LEDs are 830 nm; its one-paragraph description says 850 nm. We show the spec-sheet figure.
- Routine: Nicebeam suggests 15–20 minutes, daily or three to four times a week, on a clean, dry scalp with any topical products applied afterwards.
- Fit: one size; Nicebeam does not publish a head-circumference range. The LED panel is about 7.5 x 7.9 in., so it covers the crown rather than the whole head.
- Not published: irradiance, weight, cord length and the adapter's wattage.
- Regulatory: Nicebeam calls its devices 'FDA Registered', which is an establishment and device listing, not a 510(k) clearance, and publishes no registration or clearance numbers. We repeat Nicebeam's wording as its own claim.
- Delivery and returns: Nicebeam processes orders in 1–3 business days and quotes 5–14 business days for US delivery (most in 5–7), which is slower than most brands on Comparadar. Nicebeam's own policy accepts returns within 30 days of delivery only for unopened, unused items that arrived damaged, defective or wrong, and refuses used devices on hygiene grounds, while its FAQ and product badges advertise a 30-day money-back trial. - Not ideal for: anyone who wants a cordless cap, full-head coverage including the sides and back, or anyone taking medication that increases light sensitivity (check with your doctor first).
