RevX Wellness Ice Pod Portable Inflatable Ice Bath

The Ice Pod is RevX Wellness's $100 entry point: a 31.5 in. tall, 31.5 in. wide inflatable PVC pod that holds about 80 gallons, comes with an insulated cover, and drains through a built-in valve to a garden hose. There are no ports for a chiller; you fill it, add ice, and sit upright. RevX pitches it as a way to try cold-water immersion for a month before committing to a chilled system, and as a travel tub that packs into a bag. It suits someone testing whether they will stick with cold plunging, or anyone who wants a plunge they can take on the road.

Good to know

• Ice budget: RevX is candid that you will buy a lot of ice. Eighty gallons of tap water takes a good deal of ice to drop into the 50s°F, and there is no chiller option for this pod, so cost it per session before you decide.
• Posture: This is a sit-upright pod, closer to the Barrel than the tubs, but about 6 in. narrower and 5 in. shorter than the Barrel.
• Not published: empty weight (8 lb is RevX's shipping weight), wall construction, maximum fill line and whether the lid is inflatable.
• Upgrade path: RevX's inflatable tubs and barrels have threaded ports for its chiller and filtration cabinets; the Ice Pod does not, so it cannot be converted later.
• Returns: RevX's policy allows 30 days for unused items in original packaging; the Ice Pod is not shown at a sale price on RevX's site. See Returns by brand.
