Renew Red Light The Mask 4-Wavelength LED Face Mask
The Mask is Renew Red Light's silicone LED face mask. Ninety-two four-chip LEDs provide four wavelengths: 635 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared, which run together, plus 415 nm blue and 605 nm orange, which each run on their own. A wired controller with a built-in 1,000 mAh battery means nothing plugs into the wall during a session. Renew describes The Mask as FDA-cleared. It suits someone who wants more than red light from a face mask and likes a set-and-forget auto program.

Good to know
- Routine: Renew suggests 10–20 minutes, three to five times a week, and says once a day is fine. The auto program runs 20 minutes in total.
- Wavelength note: Renew's spec sheet lists the red LEDs at 635 nm, while one paragraph on the same page says 630 nm. We show the spec-sheet figure.
- Regulatory wording: Renew calls The Mask FDA-cleared but does not publish a clearance number, and elsewhere describes its devices as cosmetic rather than medical. Ask Renew for the clearance details if they matter to you.
- Eyes: two eye protectors are included. Use them for every session, especially with the blue channel.
- Compared with the EVEDIA ION: EVEDIA's mask has 160 LEDs, two near-infrared bands and a 2-year warranty but no orange channel and no published irradiance. Renew publishes irradiance but gives a 1-year warranty.
- Not ideal for: neck or chest coverage, or anyone taking medication that increases light sensitivity (check with your doctor first).
Specifications are from the manufacturer; we compared published specs and have not lab-tested this unit.
