Renew Red Light The Small Panel Red & Near-Infrared LED Panel
The Small Panel is the entry point to Renew Red Light's panel line: a 12.2 x 10.5 in. panel with 64 five-watt LEDs that ships with a tabletop stand. It uses the same six-wavelength mix as the Large Panel, three reds (610, 630 and 660 nm) and three near-infrareds (810, 830 and 850 nm), with most of the LEDs at 660 and 850 nm. It suits someone who wants a desk- or nightstand-sized panel for the face, hands, a knee or a shoulder, and the freedom to move it around the house.

Good to know
- Distance and time: Renew suggests sitting 6–12 in. from the panel for 10–20 minutes, three to five times a week, and says daily use is fine.
- Power figure: Renew's page lists a 1,500 VA power consumption, the same number it gives for the much larger Large Panel. We have left it out; ask Renew if circuit load matters to you.
- Voice control: lets you start, stop and switch modes without taking the goggles off or reaching for the panel.
- Compared with the Large Panel: the Large has 304 LEDs, stands 43 in. tall on a wheeled floor stand and costs three times as much. The Small is the better fit for one area at a time.
- Regulatory: Renew states that its devices are not medical devices and are intended for cosmetic use only.
- Not ideal for: full-body coverage, anyone who wants blue light (Renew's Panorama and Max add 450 nm), or anyone taking medication that increases light sensitivity (check with your doctor first).
Specifications are from the manufacturer; we compared published specs and have not lab-tested this unit.
