Artico Plunge Liner for Insignia 14.0 cu ft Chest Freezer

Artico's Plunge Liner for the Insignia 14.0 is a drop-in waterproof PVC liner cut to the interior of the Insignia 14.0 cu ft chest freezer, the most common freezer used for do-it-yourself cold plunges. Artico says it is 27–30 mil thick, the same kind of PVC used in pool liners, and that it needs no tools: you seal the freezer seams, set the liner in and fill it. At $297 it suits someone who already owns or plans to buy an Insignia 14.0 and wants a leak-proof plunge without painting or epoxy-coating the freezer.

Good to know

• Compatibility: Insignia 14.0 cu ft chest freezer only. Check your model number and interior dimensions before ordering; Artico publishes no dimensions for this liner.
• Seal first: Artico recommends running waterproof silicone along the freezer's interior seams before installing the liner. The liner protects the freezer walls from water but is not a substitute for a sealed cabinet.
• Chilling and safety: a chest freezer is designed to freeze, not to hold water at a set temperature. Plan a timer or thermostat controller, a GFCI outlet, and regular water changes; Artico sells the liner only and gives no guidance on the electrical side. A purpose-built tub with a chiller, such as RevX's X Tub system, handles temperature control for you.
• Water care: Artico says the liner fits 'like a loose glove' so it can be lifted out to clean. It publishes no cleaning-chemical guidance; the ozone and filtration units in our Cold Plunge collection are the usual add-ons.
• Not published: liner weight, exact dimensions for the Insignia version, chemical compatibility and any warranty beyond the 30-day guarantee.
• Delivery and returns: Artico ships from Texas within 24–48 hours of the order, per its FAQ. Artico's own policy gives 30 days from delivery for a return at your own shipping expense and a full refund if the liner is defective or damaged; it publishes no separate warranty. Return terms for Comparadar orders are on our Returns by brand page.
• Not ideal for: anyone without one of the listed freezer models, anyone who wants a finished tub with temperature control, or anyone with a heart condition or who is pregnant (check with your doctor before cold-water immersion).
